So I got up bright and early to get my bike stuff together, get to my meeting and then hit the trail for a ride.
The weigh in - I'm back down to my 100 pound loss mark (162.2 to be exact - my lowest weight so far) and I changed my goal weight to 162.5 - I found it to easy to think well I only have to be 166 and I'm still within goal so I have now changed my goal weight so I can only be 164.5, but I hope to keep it closer to the 162.5 mark.
The meeting - it was about not looking back so much and look towards the future and not dwell on bad weeks, days or meals. My leader said something that just blew me away when she said it. She asked "Should we be looking ahead of us or behind us?" Most of us agreed that the answer should be both and she gave us the example of our vehicles. The rear view mirror is small, but the windshield is very large. We should look back a bit too see what is going on, but our true focus should be in front of us. I don't think I will even look at my car the same way again!
After the meeting I took the bike out for a spin. I ended up doing 18.5 miles. I really wanted to do more, but my body was giving me clear signals that I shouldn't. My head was hurting and my legs were still really sore from the 10 mile run yesterday so I'm very happy with the mileage I did then I came home, took a nap and rested!
