So first was my Weight Watchers meeting - it was very good - we talked about having a buddy in our weight loss journey. My buddy is my wonderful supportive husband - I only hope I can be as supportive as he has been and help him lose the rest of the weight he wants to. I also got a cute little gift from a lady in my meeting - she is one of the "knitters" - hey you have nicknames for people in your meeting right? She brought it to me and thanked me for being such an inspiration to her! I was so honored! Sometimes it still shocks me that people will say something like that to me. But I love it and it is going to take an honored place on my purse!I then hit the trail for a bike ride - I had planned on setting out and turning around at 45 minutes - but I felt pretty good and it was so beautiful so I turned at 60 minutes. I ended up doing 24.2 miles in a little less than 2 hours. I hit the 16 mile mark (required mileage for the tri) at 1:15 - which is 5 minutes faster than last ride - I'm very happy with that!
Then we decided the family should go out and have a little fun and run a couple of errands - Sunday was the day I could upgrade my phone and I have been counting down the days - I am the proud (obsessed) owner of an Iphone! We ate at Chevy's and then spent the time getting my phone and then ate dessert at Coldstone. I had a 70 point food day - but you heard me right - I know I had a 70 point food day - it is all tracked and accounted for! Thankfully it is the beginning of my week so basically I just need to be careful the rest of the week as I have used all my flex points my first day.
And lastly - I added yet another after pic to the side of my blog ------> This was taken for a very special project that I can't talk about yet, but will very soon!

Sacfit Saturday - or the 8 miler that was, then wasn't and then was 9!
For our run we did mile repeats - 3 mile repeats to be exact. 3 miles that we run a minute faster than our regular pace with some warm up time, recovery time and cool down time in there as well. It was supposed to be 8 miles total, but then that would have us turning around at a dangerous part of the trail, so we turned early so when we ended it wasn't 8 miles total. I decided to go back out and find the Hubster and his group - so off I went! I found them ran back in with them and went back once again just to make sure we had everyone in so I did a little over 9 miles!
The faster pace was hard, and the 3rd mile repeat was very difficult, my legs were not happy with me, and I fell back a little from the group, but overall I'm happy with the way I did. Up next week is 12 miles!

A WW meeting, A weigh in and a bike ride.
So I got up bright and early to get my bike stuff together, get to my meeting and then hit the trail for a ride.
The weigh in - I'm back down to my 100 pound loss mark (162.2 to be exact - my lowest weight so far) and I changed my goal weight to 162.5 - I found it to easy to think well I only have to be 166 and I'm still within goal so I have now changed my goal weight so I can only be 164.5, but I hope to keep it closer to the 162.5 mark.
The meeting - it was about not looking back so much and look towards the future and not dwell on bad weeks, days or meals. My leader said something that just blew me away when she said it. She asked "Should we be looking ahead of us or behind us?" Most of us agreed that the answer should be both and she gave us the example of our vehicles. The rear view mirror is small, but the windshield is very large. We should look back a bit too see what is going on, but our true focus should be in front of us. I don't think I will even look at my car the same way again!
After the meeting I took the bike out for a spin. I ended up doing 18.5 miles. I really wanted to do more, but my body was giving me clear signals that I shouldn't. My head was hurting and my legs were still really sore from the 10 mile run yesterday so I'm very happy with the mileage I did then I came home, took a nap and rested! Oh and on the side of my blog I have a new pic! ---> check it out!

Sacfit Saturday!
10 mile run on the first day of spring! It was beautiful!! The weather was cold until we got running, but then it was amazing! The run went well I led the group the whole 10 miles and the assistant coach for the Gold 12:30's (my new pace group) has asked me to take the group next season! She has been having some injury issues and wants to have someone in place now so she can help me transition into the spot! I'm super excited!!
I came home from the run, ate and then took a short nap and then the spring cleaning bug took over! I have been very domestic this afternoon and my house looks nice enough that I can go for my ride tomorrow without thinking I really should be doing something at home! I love days like this!!

A good day for another ride!
I was so tired last night I think I was in bed around 8PM! I woke up feeling horrible for some reason - and I woke up later than I wanted because I didn't set the clock forward and kept thinking I had plenty of time. I didn't. I stumbled around the house for a bit, decided not to go to my WW meeting because I still didn't feel well and ate some breakfast and had some coffee. I was starting to feel human again and the urge hit me. I want to go for another ride! I threw on my bike stuff, got the ride ready and drove out to the trail headed for Old Sacramento (and Raley field where the finish of the Shamrockin' half marathon is) I called my friends Holly and Jen and they were just leaving Raley field - so they walked back to see me and I saw a few more sacfitters out there and then I met my Older son, Matt and his finace Jess in Old Sacramento and started the trip back to my car. The result was a 22 mile bike ride! It was so nice being with myself and my thoughts on the way out there and it was very nice having company on the way back. What a great way to spend a Sunday!
Oh and a note on the Tri-Training - The bike portion is 16 miles - I know I can ride 16 miles now!

Sacfit Saturday!
It was a beautiful day for a run! We did 5 miles - which I did in 1:02 and felt so great - then I walked out the other way to find some friends and my hubby. They were doing more miles than we did for some reason. After everyone got back me and my gang of Biker chicks went out on a ride to get me comfortable with the trail. We did 11 miles in almost an hour and it was great! Just started getting tired on the way back, but most of the ride was into the wind. Even on the way back it seemed like the wind shifted and we got some more of it! I did a total of 18.8 miles today!
Here are the biker chicks! Joanna (the one without the bike helmet) ended up not going - wasn't feeling 100% - but the rest of us had a blast and I really felt comfortable out there! Please excuse the bike shorts over the running tights - like I said it was windy and I only have bike shorts. That is me in the green on the right hand side. I ran 5 miles, but Glenda and Sarah went out on the bike with me after running 8 miles! Oh and Sarah is running a half-marathon tomorrow! We are so hardcore!

My Activity Calendar
I didn't do as well as I had hoped - But I did better than January - I still have issues getting my Tuesday run in. March will be better I'm sure for that! Friday is always a rest day so no little stickers on that day. I picked a little less colorful calendar this month so you should be able to see my stickers better on the March Calendar! Over all I'm happy with the amount of active days I had!
A little linky Motivation for Sunday!
This quote keeps popping up in my life and I love it so much! Last night at a motivational event I attended this video was the first thing that they played befor the event started - tears fell and I knew the night was going to be special.
Our Deepest Fear
I have to give you the link since it doesn't allow embedding, but I hoping you will link over and watch it.
The rest of the night was amazing and has left me with a LOT to think about - the highlight of the night? Listening to a woman who had completed an Ironman Triathlon and then it turns out she is good friends with one of the group I was sitting with and I got to sit next to her and talk to her about my training! She is local (trains in the same pool I train in!) and will be out there the day I run my first Sprint Tri! Can you tell I'm starstruck!?! She started out just like me! Did some Sprint Tris, and then Olympic tris and then on to half Ironman Tris and then to the big one! She didn't know how to swim when she started her training - she started diving to the bottom of the pool at the gym grabbing rings and slowly learned to swim. What an inspiration!!

A quick Sacfit Saturday post!
I ran 9 miles today with the group! It went well until mile 7 and I had some issues - but I did finish, just had to make pit stops that I don't normally have to make due to some medication I'm on right now. Not to be the TMI person, but I believe in full disclosure! LOL!! Next week will be a step back week I believe so I have less miles to look forward to next week!
On another note - I have some posts that have been running around in my head that I hope to get out in the blog world soon - I used to at least post my running and my weight in, but with maintenance I feel weird just posting that I'm still within my goal weight every week. Oh and as of today I have maintained my weight loss for 3 months!
