Sacfit Saturday!

So things today were a little different - we did the Cooper Workout - I have a love/hate relationship with this workout since it is very hard to do and my lungs hate doing it, but it is a great indicator of how far I have come from season to season.

This season I ran further again - by almost half a lap and was very close to completing 5 laps in 12 minutes! I believe this will give me the confirmation that I am in the right pace group for me and I have earned my spot in the faster group! My actual stats are - 1.22 miles in 12 minutes making my average pace 9:51! Granted this is not my long run pace, but our coach crunches the numbers and based on those figures places us in a group he knows we are capable of running with.

Sunday is the Hubsters birthday and we are really just celebrating today - we are going bowling with his workplace and then to a nice dinner at Cheesecake Factory! Can't wait!!

Great job fast girl! I managed to make it 1.06 miles. I think I could have pushed myself more, but I was definitely tired at the end! Have fun bowling and at the Cheesecake Factory! Yumm!

Congratulations and you have certainly earned Cheesecake Factory. I find this place overwhelming though, so many choices and everything looks tasty.

Bre i haven't heard from you in so long! Thanks for commenting on my blog! Yes it was clouds. I forgot the name then saw clouds scratched in the bottom of my cup but thought...that can't be the whole name. ....so i didn't put anything. Thanks! I really enjoyed old sac. We ate at Joe's crabshack while there. Yum!

I'm glad to see your ankle is well and you are back to running. And you have such wonderful plans for a tri etc....You'll do great.

I'm glad your son is well. My mother in law had a stroke a few weeks ago but she is well now too. Managed to keep running thru everything that was going on. Go to work, run , go to hospital. I crashed afterwards and didn't run for a week. But things are back to 'normal' now. Take care bre! Love to hear from you.
