I loved the insight into Alan Jackson's life, his wife is truly an inspiration. She has such a strength and confidence about her. There are a lot of similarities between Denise and I and I hope that I can apply some of this book to my life. When I checked this one out it was because I wanted to know more about Alan, but know I feel like Denise is an old friend cheering me on and praying for me.

I love Stephanie Plum!! This was a very quick read and yeah it was fluffy, but we all deserve a fluffly read now and then right??

I have a cold! This has totally messed up my workout schedule and I'm trying very hard not to let it mess up my diet, but I'm starving all the time!! So far I'm doing well, but I don't know how much more I will last if this dumb cold sticks around.

Great book!! I loved it and cannot wait to read more of this author! The desription doesn't do it justice and after about 20 pages I wanted to quit reading it, but I'm sure glad I stuck it out! I would have missed out on the most amazing story of two worlds really are not so big after all.

Week 29 Weigh In!

Well I shoud be upset about this one, but I'm not. First my trainer upped my workouts and made then harder, then I raised the bar even more by trying out several classes which I did well in and wouldn't have been able to even attempt 6 months ago, so the scale goes up .8 - why am I not upset? I told my hubby that I felt like I had lost inches and I wanted to do my measurments early - so in two weeks I have lost 5.25 inches!! That totally makes up for the gain on the scale this morning and I know it is only a temporary thing while my body gets used to the new workout routine. I know my acceptance means I have grown a little, I know my body will not always do what I want it to do, but that is OK - I joined WW to learn to be healthy and happy and I am both those things today and I just plan on getting better and better!

Very cute book with many funny moments and many heartwarming ones as well. The characters are loveable and believeable. I really loved this one, I couldn't put it down!

Week 28 Weigh in!

I lost .4 this week. I know it is a loss, but darn, I felt like I worked harder than that. I did have a non-scale celebration, my trainer had to change my workouts because most of the stuff he had given me to do was getting too easy. I meet with him again this afternoon and we will be changing the amount of weights I will be doing as well. I will take any progress at all! So anyway I am now down 37.5 pounds total!!
